“Destiny” Outdoor Color Guard

“Destiny” color guard provides the color and motion for the “Pride” of Port Charlotte Marching Band. “Destiny” performs with the marching band at all competitions, parades, and outdoor musical events. During the winter season, “Destiny” performs as in indoor unit in the Winter Guard International Florida Indoor Color Guard Circuit. A strong emphasis is placed on dance technique and movement as well as equipment handling (flag, sabre, and rifle). Membership is through audition at the beginning of each school year. Students in “Destiny” are eligible to take a credited class.
